Welcome back to school!  Hope your first week went well.  Now that you have submitted your proposal, recap what your topic is,  what you want to prove, and how you think you need to go about proving it.
Add to the visual appeal of your blog by posting a relevant picture, chart, and/or link.  We are looking forward to helping you over the next few weeks so that you effectively and cogently argue your position synthesizing compelling evidence.

  • What is the research question?
Second Post:  Pro Argument
  • What does the pro side say/think/believe?
Third  Post:  Con Argument
  • What does the con side say/think/believe?

Fourth  Post:  Selecting a Position

  • What side will you be arguing?
  • Why have you selected this side?

Welcome to blogging!  This blog will serve as your prompt for blog posts that you will make over the summer and during the fall as you progress through the research phases.  Periodically, we will post prompts and instructions for you to respond to in your own blogs.  Right now you should be focusing upon finalizing your topic selection based upon the comments you received on your topic selection forms. Also you should be creating your own blogs.  Try to find pictures and/or quotations which pertain to your topic to illustrate your blog.   Happy researching and happy blogging!
