First Post: Now that you have set up your blogs, take a little time customize them so that they reflect you and your topic. Over the next months, prompts will be posted on this site to which you will respond.
Your first posting should be an overview of your topic. You should address the following questions:
- What is the issue?
- What is the controversy surrounding it?
- Why have you selected the issue?
- What is your interest in the topic?
- What is the research question?
Second Post: Pro Argument
- What does the pro side say/think/believe?
Third Post: Con Argument
- What does the con side say/think/believe?
Fourth Post: Selecting a Position
- What side will you be arguing?
- Why have you selected this side?
- What will your supporting arguments be?
- What arguments for the other side will you need to counter
